Siro Dhara, when performed using medicated oil, is known as Thailadhara. The choice of medicated oil varies according to the patient's specific condition. Initially, suitable oils are applied to both the head and body, followed by a gentle body massage. Subsequently, the patient is positioned on their back to allow the oil to flow onto their forehead. This therapeutic process continues for 45 minutes, accompanied by a gentle body massage throughout. Following the completion of the Dhara treatment, the patient is given a brief period of rest, after which they receive a comforting hot water bath for the body, complemented by a special medicated water for the head bath.
